The reason I compared the two games is because I've also played GRID 1 and that to me was a sort of arcade-simulation hybrid just like Shift 2 is for me. I thought GRID 2 would be the same sort of thing but GRID 2 feels far too arcadey to me. I've also had experience with DiRT 2 and 3 (games I really like) so playing GRID 2 really feels too unrealistic.
